Transitions 🌅

Transitions are strange.

God gives us these in-between times to reflect, to see where we were and where He's leading. A time of grieving, excitement, anxiety, and humility all at once. We laugh, we cry, we wonder.

Sitting in an ever-emptying house, thinking of good friendships and students. Counting pennies at the grocery store, eating a "humility meal" from childhood to remember the times God has brought you through. Sitting outside, reflecting that God is good in the ordinary and extraordinary, ever refining us in these hellos and goodbyes, in these "go do" and "just wait" moments, big and small.

For autistic individuals, transitions carry additional weight, grief looks different, change requires more energy, and the in-between can feel overwhelming. But God's movement in our lives is constant, should we choose to follow it.

Isaiah 55:8-9. Ecclesiastes 3:11. Change is inevitable. Hope for tomorrow remains.
