Learning is more than curriculum.
Experiential learning changes everything. Three years ago, I took my students to Boston, navigating the T, standing where the Declaration of Independence was read, having late-night conversations about what it really means to learn. They still talk about it.
We bonded. We grew. We became competent not just in knowledge, but in life.
In a world where AI can answer almost any question, there's something irreplaceable about students who experience the world together, who think creatively, who navigate real challenges side by side. These are the things research shows AI struggles to replicate. These are the things that matter most.
Education isn't about sliding by. It's about becoming more human, more thoughtful, more capable, more connected.
For students navigating an increasingly AI-driven world, experiential learning and creative thinking aren't luxuries. They're necessities. They're the foundation of genuine competency and meaningful growth.
Change is inevitable. The question is: how do we help our students thrive in it?
