Intersectional Identity in Christian Professional Spaces
"Her Season, His Service"
Vocatus atque non vocatus deus aderit. Bidden or not bidden, God is present.
As women of faith, especially single and disabled women, we navigate seasons that don't fit neat categories. What if there's no "waiting season"? What if God is already using you exactly where you are?
From Deborah the judge to Lydia the businesswoman to Priscilla the teacher, biblical women remind us that service to God isn't confined to traditional roles or age. Whether you're in vocational ministry, church leadership, or behind-the-scenes work educating others, your call is unique.
Early 30s. Single. Professional. Leader. Advocate. (Big words that make me squirm under a blazer when underneath I'm comfortable in jeans, a t-shirt, full sleeve of tattoos, and '00s punk music way too loud.)
The question I ask every day: "Why am I leading again?" That's the thing, I'm not supposed to be leading. God is supposed to lead, and I'm supposed to listen and do.
